Why Confirmation?
Deepen Your Faith: Explore the foundational beliefs of the Lutheran Christian faith through engaging classes, meaningful discussions, and hands-on projects.
Build Lifelong Relationships: Connect with peers on a similar faith journey and share experiences that will last a lifetime.
Serve and Lead: Discover your gifts and use them in service to others, growing as a disciple of Jesus.
Affirm Your Faith: Confirmation is not a graduation; it’s a proclamation of faith, setting the stage for a lifelong journey with Christ.
2024-2025 Confirmation Schedule:
6th Grade: Jan 8th – Feb 12th (5 weeks)
Topics: Overview of Ten Commandments, Lord’s Prayer, Apostles’ Creed, and Martin Luther’s life
Key Event: Christian Unity Worship, Jan 22nd, 6:45 PM
7th Grade: Oct 30th – Dec 11th (5 weeks)
Topics: Ten Commandments
Expectations: Attend 15 B.L.A.S.T. sessions, 15 sermon notes, 2 youth events, 6 service hours
Key Event: Poverty Activity, Nov 20th, 6 PM
8th Grade: Sep 25th – Oct 23rd (5 weeks)
Topics: Apostles’ Creed
