The theme for VBS 2025 is Mountaintop! Join Martin’s Lutheran Church and Westminster Presbyterian as we welcome you to come on an expedition up the mountain where we’ll sing, worship, pray, learn, encounter God and be transformed like the people in our Bible stories! Our capacity is 150 hikers for this adventure so register early to hit the trail with us.
VBS takes place at 502 Martins Ave N, Monday through Thursday, June 2nd – 5th, 1pm-4pm. The closing program will be Thursday, June 5th from 4pm-4:20pm. This year's theme verse is, “Jesus went up on a mountain to pray, and he prayed to God all night.” NLT Luke 6:12
The invitation to participate in VBS is for everyone PreK (or age 4) through those who will have completed 4th grade. The cost this year is $10 per child and no more than $20 per family. Payment and registration can be brought to Martin’s Lutheran church office by Sunday, May 18th. Keep a look out for an online registration and payment site we are working on. Scholarships are also available so all can participate. Contact us for more information.
An offering envelope will be sent home with each kid for families to be part of reaching a goal of $300 collected for a herd of goats to provide milk and daily nutrition for families through ELCA Good Gifts. Goats can go where other animals can’t, surviving in some of the world’s most challenging terrain and unreliable climates. What’s more, goats are incredibly quick to reproduce, and they provide an opportunity for families to pass the gift on to others.
